Physiotherapist Volkan YÜZLÜ
Biography
Volkan Yüzlü is graduated from Dumlupınar University, Health College, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Centre Department in 2007. After undergraduate study, Yüzlü completed his Postgraduate Study in Hacettepe University Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department, Prosthesis Orthesis and Biomechanics Division, and is awarded the title of Specialist Physiotherapist, and is presently continuing his doctorate study in Marmara Üniversitesi SBE Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department. In the course of these programs, Yüzlü has prepared and issued his Master’s and Doctorate Theses in Geriatric Rehabilitation and Neurologic Rehabilitation fields.
After his physiotherapy education, Yüzlü completed an Osteopathy program of 1500 hours in Turkish Institute for Adapted Osteopathy, and participated in a plenty of training courses, seminars and symposiums such as Pilates Coaching, Current Approaches in Scoliosis, Dry Pinpricking, Bands, Balls and Balance Workshop, Manipulation and Mobilization Therapy of Lumbar,Throcal and Cervical Spine Assessment and Treatment Techniques, Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation Course, and New Approaches in Cerebral Paralysis. Included among other exercises he applies are Graston and cup-aided myfascial release techniques, kinesiotape, and nerve mobilizations.
Posture Disorders and Office Ergonomy are the other areas of interest of Yüzlü who has completed a technology-based project development work in office ergonomy field in 2018 year.
After working in such institutions as Private İlgi Hospital, Ornöram Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Centre, Diyarbakır Military Hospital, and Romatem Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Centre between 2007 and 2010 years, Yüzlü is presently working in Darüşşafaka Ömran ve Yahya Hamuluoğlu Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Centre since 2010.
